Sunday School
Sunday School at Griffith Baptist Church
Meets Sunday Mornings at 9:45 am
Would you like to dig deeper into the Bible and develop lasting friendships with others who share similar interests as you? Then we invite you to come to Sunday School! We have several classes for you to choose from, and more information on each class will be coming in the near future....
RISE is a co-ed, adult class taught by Vonda Brown. RISE meets in the lower level of the sanctuary building. This class enjoys fellowship outside of class including cookouts, potlucks, and dinner & game nights. They have been involved in ministry activities including preparing meals for the Hospice Home, wrapping gifts at Walmart during the Christmas shopping season, and most recently prepared and served a meal during the church-wide 40 Days to Spiritual Growth Journey. Visit this class if you want some good fellowship and good Bible study!
Ladies of Faith is a ladies class led by Judy Foster. It meets upstairs in the Fellowship Hall building. They enjoy meal fellowships in the summer and at Christmastime, and provide meals and/or cards for those who are sick. The Ladies of Faith invite anyone who would like to join a group of wonderful ladies who aim to share each other's joys and sorrows, love each other, and learn more about the Bible.
JOY is a women's class taught by Gale McDuffie.
FAITH is the senior ladies class taught by Rita Pizzulo and Rilla Gregg. They meet in the lower level of the Sanctuary Building and the current curriculum is on apologetics. These ladies meet often throughout the year for fellowship activities to honor special occasions for class members. Their ministry activities include visiting shut-ins, providing meals during times of bereavement, and they have a strong focus on prayer. If you're looking for a group of ladies to share joy, love, and faith in the Lord, and to learn to serve Him better, you should visit this class!
Senior Men is a senior men's class led by Dwight Brown. They meet in the lower level of the Sanctuary Building.
Co-Ed Adults meets in the lower level of the Sanctuary Building and is currently using the Explore the Bible Curriculum. They're ministry to each other and the congregation is of prayer and encouragement. They invite you to join their class if you would like to study a book of the Bible starting with Chapter One, Verse One!
The Youth Sunday School class is currently being taught by Amy Barney.
We also have classes for the Children and Preschoolers!
