The Lord is There
The story behind the Name.
Looking back, God has always been “there” for His people
How could all this be significant to us?
Consider
Isaiah 7:14
&
Matthew 1:23
John 1:14
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
The God who promised His presence became a man at the first Advent!
Then, after the resurrection and ascension of Jesus, God would dwell in us through the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 6:19
Colossians 1:27
Matthew 28:20
teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
No matter what the circumstances may be, or how difficult the way…the Lord is there!
You can face each day with the confidence that God is with you!
Take courage from some of the last verses of Scripture in Revelation 21:1-3
Even as we face a new year full of uncertainties…
God is there!
God is with us!
