New!!! Begin 2012 by becoming a healthier servant for God! The
Bible tells us to "love the Lord your God with all your HEART and with
all your SOUL and with all your MIND and with all your STRENGTH" (Mark
12:30)
You are invited to join us at Griffith Baptist Church in Winston Salem,
NC this January for an exciting 12 week session. You will become part
of our First Place community that will encourage you, help you
successfully meet your goals, establish lasting friendships, and develop
a new way of thinking about taking care of God's temple.
Each 12 week session will have it's own bible study. The bible study chosen for the upcoming session is "Balanced Living."
New First Place 4 Health Members will need to purchase a Member Kit in
addition to the bible study chosen for this session. *Please note, the
member kit is a one time investment. Members participating in
subsequent sessions only need to purchase the bible study.* Members who
would like for the leader to purchase the materials for them will need
to pay for the materials in advance, or members are welcome to purchase
the materials locally or online on their own. Estimated costs for a new
member who pays in advance this session will be $100 if you purchase
from either the First Place 4 Health Website or another online store, or
closer to $120 if you purchase the materials from local stores.
TIPS!
* Be on the lookout for "percent off" coupons that are common this time
of year so perhaps you can save a little money and still support our
local stores!
* If you purchase locally, you might want to call your store ahead of
time to make sure they have what you need, since January is a popular
time of year to begin new weightloss programs!
All members will need to attend the MANDATORY Orientation Meeting prior
to beginning the session. This meeting will be held on Tuesday,
December 13, 2011 @ 6:30 pm and run until approximately 7:45 or 8:00 pm.
The session will begin the first week of January and run through the
third week of March.

Orientation Meeting

1987 Old Salisbury Road · Winston Salem, North Carolina 27127 (map it)PLEASE RSVP BY EMAIL TO KRISTINA BY 12/9/2011 SO WE CAN PLAN APPROPRIATELY FOR REFRESHMENTS AND SPACE REQUIREMENTS. This is a mandatory orientation meeting for all members planning to join the Balanced Living bible study session beginning in January. This meeting will include a meet and greet time, light refreshments, orientation to the First Place 4 Health program and materials, and official registrations. You do NOT have to have your materials by this meeting.... this is a chance for you to meet others in the group, learn about the program, and decide if you will be joining us.
